Hello Sugarcrafters, We have just completed our first Intensive Modelling course here in Stoke on Trent. What a great course this is, it is not about completing a cake, but learning the rudiments of all aspects of figure modelling. The students in this class were all beginners and I can't believe how well they did constructing the faces and the completed figure. The quality of their work was to be proud of. Suitable for all levels, so watch out for the next session I will be doing fewer classes during the first 6 months of the year as I have another book to write 'FUN & ORIGINAL BIRTHDAY CAKES" This one will be published in 2011. INTENSIVE COURSES This is a new course for you, not about complete cakes, but all about the mechanic of modelling which you need to master. Even if you are making cakes at the moment from home or otherwise, you will learn a lot from being on this course. THE 5 DAY SCHOOLS These have been very successful, and you will do something different every day. Many people who come are complete beginners to modelling, but by the end of the course you will be astonished at your progress. All my courses in Stoke on Trent are inclusive of materials and equipment, so if you are travelling from overseas, as many of you do, then you don't have anything to bring with you.
